Opticis Optical FireWire Repeater Set (M4-200)
The S800 Optical FireWire Repeaters (M4-200 and M4-201) offer 500m (1,640feet) extension beyond the limits of typical FireWire cables which extend only 4.5m (15feet) without any distribution amplifiers or repeaters. The M4-200 consists of a pair of two repeaters, having one-optical and two-electrical ports. For all FireWire 1394a(400Mbps) and 1394b(800Mbps) - industry standard 4-pin and 6-pin (to 400Mbps) and 9-pin (to 800Mbps) systems. For Apple Mac OS9 and OSX, Windows 2000 / XP / Vista and Linux / Unix with FireWire iLink 1394a or 1394b support.
